Register for the 2026 Sandy Running Festival
Registering for our 2026 event is quick and easy!
Hit the ‘Register’ button below and create an account with MyCause.
Sign-up as an individual or as a team, enter your details and select your distance: 5km, 10km or 21km.
Confirm your registration and start fundraising! Share your MyCause page with friends and family via Facebook, text or email.
Registration is free and you can work towards fundraising (or even exceeding) your distance’s fundraising goal - or simply contribute this amount yourself! All all profits from the festival will go towards supporting Bright Futures Child Aid and Development Fund.
For the 2026 event, register by 11pm Friday 20th March to receive an official result and time. Entries are still available on race day and all finishers will receive a medal, but race day entries are not guaranteed to be displayed on results.

Our medals are made from bamboo by Tech Studies students from Kings Baptist Grammar School.

For 2026, the lanyards have been made by Home Economics students from Kings Baptist Grammar School, with a portion also provided by women living in the slums of Nairobi. The women are learning tailoring through Bright Futures’ partner in Kenya and, as they ‘earn while they learn’, a pathway out of poverty is created. It’s just one more way the Sandy Running Festival is helping empower others.
